Because I regularly write articles at a downtown Hartford, Connecticut Starbucks coffee shop, I have the opportunity to be aware of and sample many of the new menu items that Starbucks constantly introduces. Yesterday, I tried Starbucks’ new Chicken Santa Fe Hot Panini sandwich. I must say, I thought that this panini sandwich was a top – rate product that was delicious, filling and convenient. This sandwich was just as good as any panini sandwich that I’ve eaten at full – service Italian restaurants and its price is actually cheaper than most other panini sandwiches that I’ve eaten. The Starbucks Chicken Santa Fe Hot Panini sandwich so impressed me that I have decided to write a product review of it. Presented here, in an effort to assist the consumer, is one food writer’s product review of the Chicken Santa Fe Hot Panini sandwich that is stocked and sold at Starbucks coffee shops across America. I’m assuming they make the Panini with theĀ cuisinart gr-1 griddler panini and sandwich press.

Price
The regular price charged for one Chicken Santa Fe Hot Panini sandwich at Hartford, Connecticut area Starbucks coffee shops is $5.75. Through the years, I have eaten panini sandwiches at many different restaurants and the price of every other panini that I have eaten has been higher than the price charged for this sandwich. Considering the delicious flavor and overall high quality of this item, I think that this price is reasonable.

Texture
The texture of the Starbucks Chicken Santa Fe Hot Panini sandwich is soft, yet appealingly crisp. These sandwiches normally sit in a display cooler and when one of them is purchased, it is heated in one of Starbucks’ unique ovens. The sandwich features authentic grill marks and it maintains the texture of a straight – from – the – grill panini sandwich.
